Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte Orders Arrest of Unvaccinated Who Leave Their Homes

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte this week directed officials to arrest unvaccinated individuals who leave their homes, claiming the national emergency posed by COVID-19 justified the extreme measure.

Speaking to the nation via television on Thursday, Duterte said that he was “giving orders to the [village chiefs] to look for those persons who are not vaccinated and just request them or order them, if you may, to stay put,” according to the Hill .

“And if he refuses and goes out of the house and goes around in the community or maybe everywhere, he can be restrained. If he refuses then the [official] is empowered to arrest the recalcitrant persons,” Duterte added.

The U.S. economy added just 199,000 jobs in December and the unemployment rate fell to 3.9 percent.

Economists had forecast 422,000 jobs and an unemployment rate of 4.1 percent, although this week’s report on private payrolls from ADP indicating that the private sector added 807,000 jobs had created some anticipation that the official figure would be higher than the consensus forecast.

Chinese investors stash million in Australia as they flee burning markets at home

Guess what rich people in China are doing- slashing millions in Australia and fleeing burning markets at home. Yes, people in China are investing big in CCP’s biggest enemy- Australia.

On its part, the CCP is quite angry about how Chinese wealth is flowing out of the country and helping Chinese enemies strengthen their own economies. Chinese authorities have even tried to crack down on offshore trading services to mainland China clients by online brokerages. The crackdown would end up restricting millions of retail investors in mainland China from trading securities easily in foreign markets such as the US and Hong Kong.
